San Elijo AYSO offers five programs throughout the year that are geared towards a variety of ages and skill levels. All of our programs offer children and young adults an environment to learn and grow their skills leading to a successful soccer experience for all invovled.
Our programs are 100% volunteer run and supported which helps to keep costs affordable for parents looking to have their child participate in a team sport. Volunteers have been trained by our "Safe Haven" program which involves an application and screening process that reduces the likelihood of abuses occuring while kids are participating in soccer.
Our coaches receive training and certification through our age-specific courses that can meet the coach's needs regardless of their level of experience.
Throughout the year, we also offer supplemental local instruction programs, camps, and clinics. All are free of charge to our volunteers and to the kids participating in our programs.
The following programs are offered through our region:
• Fall Soccer Program •
The Fall league is our Core program that runs from July through November (excluding major holidays). This is our largest program that is geared toward those that want to experience soccer for the first time and for those that enjoy playing soccer in a competitive and fun environment. You can find more information by visiting our Fall Program webpage or send an email to [email protected].
• Spring 'Turbo' Soccer Program •
The Spring "Turbo" Soccer league is a program that runs during March, April, and May (excluding major holidays). It is a program that focuses on fun and exercise and not competition. It is a good program for those that want to experience soccer for the first time and for those that want to keep up their soccer skills during the off-season. You can find more information by visiting our Spring Turbo Program webpage or send an email to our Spring Director at [email protected].
• Spring 'Select' Soccer Program •
The Select Program offers a higher level of competition for players looking to advance their soccer skills beyond the regular season. With a focus on commitment, skill development, and team dynamics, Select teams participate in tournaments and have more structured practices. Players are chosen through a selective process. Unlike the more casual Turbo program, Select requires a greater commitment from both players and parents, emphasizing improvement and competitive play. You can find more information by visiting our Spring Select Program webpage or send an email to our Spring Director at [email protected].
• Jamboree Soccer Program •
The Jamboree league is a program which is designed for the specific needs of 4 year old kids. It runs from September through November in the Fall and March through May in the Spring. It involves parent participation to help ease the child into a group sport environment. You can find more information by visiting our Jamboree Program webpage or send an email to our Jamboree Division Manager at [email protected].
• EPIC Soccer Program •
The AYSO EPIC (Everyone Plays in Our Community) league is a program which is designed for the specific needs of individuals whose physical or mental disabilities make it difficult for them to successfully participate on mainstream soccer teams. This program runs in conjunction with our Fall and Spring seasons. You can find more information by visiting our EPIC Soccer webpage or send an email to our EPIC Division Manager at [email protected]
• AYSO United North County Competitive Soccer Program •
The AYSO United North County program is designed for those players looking for a more competitive environment. Kids interested in this program must attend tryouts and be accepted by an age appropriate team. This league will involve traveling to different cities within San Diego and Orange County for play.
