Our Spring "Turbo" Soccer league runs March and April (excluding Easter and Mother's Day). The format is designed for a fun, non-competitive environment on smaller fields with a focus on spacing, passing, and shooting. Teams play in a 3v3 format, with rosters set at 5-6 players.
Games are on Sundays between 10:00am and 4:00pm at the Hilltop and Upper Softball fields of San Elijo Park. Each game slot is one hour max. The season is 8 games total beginning on March 3rd, and will run weekly. There are no weekday team practices. Game times are scheduled to allow for warm up + practice time before each game.
There are no referees - The coaches manage games. Additionally, scores and standings are not maintained in this league and there are NO "keepers".
Why Play Spring Turbo?
- It is a good program for those that want to experience soccer for the first time and for those that want to keep up their soccer skills during the off-season.
- Fewer players on the field = more touches for a fast-flowing, fluid game.
- Playing short-sided allows player to make simpler decisions and develop an earlier, better understanding of play.
- Smaller fields = more players being directly involved in plays, creating increased levels of concentration and interest.
- The reduced field size encourages more shots on goal by all players!
For Jamboree, players are divided into groups each week. Sessions begin at 10:00am and are run by professional trainers focusing on various game like activities for the first 30 minutes, followed by small sided games for the final half hour.
YES! We need volunteer coaches!!!

If you can fill in and help in any of these positions, please indicate during registration or email [email protected].
Team Manager/Coach: We will be looking for parents to step up and manage a group of players. There will be no practices. The basic job will be to manage the playing time and substitutions on game days and look out for the safety of the players.
Game Official: Not an official referee, but someone who can ensure that we provide a Safe, Fair and Fun environment for the players. A minimal set of rules are utilized and are posted on the Spring Season web page.
Field/Equipment Manager(s): Ensures goals and equipment (paint carts) are unlocked and available so first teams can setup fields. At the end of the day, make sure the last teams have locked up and put everything away.
